Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing “GD&T”

Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is an international symbolic language used on engineering drawings. GD&T is a valuable tool that effectively communicates the design intent to manufacturing and inspection. This workshop is an introduction t0 geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. The course is based on Dimensioning & Tolerancing ASME Y14.5-2009 standard.

Students will get a thorough introduction to the Y14.5 standard. The principal objective is to give those who are required to interpret blueprints the skills to understand the basics of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
