There are 16 local MassHire Workforce Boards, composed of business and community leaders, who oversee Massachusetts Career Centers. MassHire Workforce Boards address critical labor market issues across our regions by developing strategic policies and programs that aim to close the skills gap and help local residents find work. 29 MassHire Career Centers are the front door for jobseekers, career-changers, and businesses seeking high-quality, customized employment services. The MassHire Workforce Boards are currently working with the businesses in their region to help address their issues and concerns around hiring for essential services workers, layoffs, and unemployment guidance for employees.
