Workforce Training Fund MTE Website Tutorial Webinar

If you are a small manufacturer in Massachusetts with under 100 team members, trying to understand how to use the new Massachusetts Training Exchange (MTE) website, or just wanting information on how the program works, then this webinar is for you. Join us online for our insights and step-by-step process to get your company, and team members registered with the MTE. Learn how to make use of the Workforce Training Fund.

The Small Business Direct Access Program addresses smaller-scale training needs by making training slots in popular topics available, free of charge, to eligible businesses.Businesses with 100 or fewer Massachusetts employees that contribute to the Workforce Training Fund are eligible to access training through the Small Business Direct Access Program.

A business may access up to $15,000 in grant funds per calendar year through the Massachusetts Training Exchange. The Massachusetts Training Exchange is an online training marketplace. It was created by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to help Massachusetts businesses find high quality and cost-effective training for their workers and apply for Workforce Training Fund grant subsidies to help pay for the training.

On March 27th, the President signed into law a $2 trillion economic stimulus package (CARES Act, Public Law 116-136) to help address the unprecedented health and economic crisis related to COVID-19. Included in the stimulus package was over $350 billion for small business loan guarantees, subsidies, and other resources. Training Description: 5S Workplace Organization and Standardization: This training instills a five-step highly disciplined housekeeping technique.
