Are these buzz words or real problems, Supply Chain & Reshoring?
ZoomIn the wake of the pandemic, tariff changes, security issues, and ever-increasing customer demands, managing supply chains has become a more important topic to manufacturers. There is a new appreciation for integrating suppliers more closely with manufacturing operations and information systems.
This webinar will cover three related topics:
a. Taking risk out of supply chains
b. Better managing demand in order to bring more predictability to supply chains
c. Reshoring
d. MassMEP programs and grant funding

Technology Demonstration on Machine Tool Probing for Industry 4.0
ZoomThis technology demonstration is part of the NERDIC Industry 4.0 Readiness Ecosystem program for the New England defense supply chain. For more information, please visit ccat.us/NERDIC.
Join us for a virtual presentation on the use and results of automated probing for CNC machining of a demonstration part.
Probing is an established best practice for maximizing the efficiency, quality, capability, and accuracy of machine tools. Standard routines built into modern CNC controls simplify the integration of probing cycles into machining operations and offline tools. These routines, combined with a CAD interface, make the simulation of measurement functions easy.
On machine probe solutions can help reduce set_up times by up to 90% and improve your process control. This technology provides solutions for tool setting, broken tool detection, component set-up, in-cycle gauging and first-off component inspection, with automatic offset updates.
On machine probing can deliver significant cost savings, and improvements in quality, for all applications using machine tools throughout many industries.
Technology Demonstration on Using AI Technology to Crosstrain & Upskill…
ZoomThis technology demonstration is part of the NERDIC Industry 4.0 Readiness Ecosystem program for the New England defense supply chain. For more information, please visit ccat.us/NERDIC.
Join this virtual presentation on the results of the demonstration pilot conducted by Stanley X/DeepHow on the use and implementation of DeepHow AI technology in manufacturing.
Stanley X, in partnership with DeepHow, will share their AI-powered solution to capture, train and transfer knowledge among skilled workers. This system allows documentation of standard work of high performing, subject matter expert employees, converting into Smart how-to videos for staff to learn from and reference, using standard enterprise tools and no special equipment or skills.
If you have 30 minutes, you could get $30,000 in New Express Grant Opportunities
ZoomIf you haven't heard there is a new Express Grant program in town and it is shaking things up for Manufacturers. Join MassMEP and Tribal Vision as we discuss the course options that will now be available to all manufacturers across the commonwealth. These new express grant opportunities are available now and this one-hour webinar will explain what is available to you in their Marketing and Lead Generation modules. These modules focus on strategy & planning as well as implementation.
Learn more about the new Express Grant program that provides training funds up to $30,000/year/company with no match if you are 100 employees or less. If you are over 100 employees it is a 50/50 match, so $0.50 for every $1.00.
You won't want to miss this if you have a tight budget, but know you need some continuous improvement within your organization.
Technology Demonstration on Augmented Reality for Industry 4.0
ZoomThis technology demonstration is part of the NERDIC Industry 4.0 Readiness Ecosystem program for the New England defense supply chain. For more information, please visit ccat.us/NERDIC.
Join us for a virtual presentation on the results of the demonstration pilot conducted by SphereGen/The Impact Group on the use and implementation of augmented reality in manufacturing.
Augmented Reality is the overlaying of digital content into the physical environment. Specifically, to manufacturing, this can include any type of virtual parts, data, photos, videos, and work instructions. These assets can be transposed on to a machine in the real world for easier training and troubleshooting through a device such as a phone or headset. Our engagement with CCAT is specific to HoloLens 2 which is an advanced augmented reality headset created by Microsoft. HoloLens 2 has comprehensive voice recognition, gesture recognition and is a hands-free heads-up display.
Market, Recruit and Retain the Manufacturing Workforce
ZoomIn this webinar the focus will be on different marketing and recruitment strategies in order to continuously build on the manufacturing workforce and gain new employees. The panel will host guest speakers; Deanna Zarella (AIS, Inc.), Chris Ciunci (Tribal Vision), Andrea Pion (The Davis Companies) and Jeff Turgeon (MassHire) to discuss their strategies on how to retain and recruit employees in the current climate.
Cybersecurity & CMMC: Weapons against Cyberattacks
ZoomIn the current climate cyberattacks are at an all time high and manufacturers need ways to help keep them ahead of these risks. Clients are also putting cybersecurity as one of their top audit items in their B to B environment.
Join MassMEP as Synagex and Cybersaint will present ways to weaponize manufacturers against these cyberattacks, stay in compliance as a DoD supplier, and educate themselves and their teams with a minimal to no-cash flow obligation.
