Workforce Pipeline Team Announces April Training Opportunities to Strengthen Manufacturing Talent
The MassMEP Workforce Pipeline Team is excited to announce several training opportunities launching this April to support the development of skilled talent across the Commonwealth.
Pre-Apprenticeship Program – Two April Cohorts
This spring, MassMEP will host two Pre-Apprenticeship cohorts designed to prepare individuals for successful careers in manufacturing:
- Blackstone Valley Hub
- South Shore Regional Vocational Technical High School
These programs provide participants with foundational manufacturing skills, hands-on experience, and career readiness support to help bridge the gap between education and employment. The Pre-Apprenticeship initiative continues to serve as a critical entry point for individuals seeking long-term career pathways in advanced manufacturing.
Women in Manufacturing – Skills for Success Training
In addition, MassMEP will launch a new Women in Manufacturing: Skills for Success training program beginning the first week of April. This program is designed to empower women entering or advancing within the manufacturing sector by strengthening essential workplace, leadership, and professional skills necessary for success in today’s industry.
MassMEP remains committed to building a strong, diverse manufacturing workforce and creating accessible pathways into high-demand careers across Massachusetts.
We will be facilitating a virtual information session for this training on Tuesday, March 3rd, at 11 AM to discuss the training and format.
