Using Pit Crew Principles to Increase Productivity & Efficiency

01/25/2017 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am

Start 2017 strong right from the gate!

Join us Wednesday, January 25th at the FLEXcon manufacturing headquarters in Spencer, MA. Learn how they employed Lean Principles from MassMEP’s Lean in the Fast Lane Training to develop their own in-house Pit Crew for productivity gains within their Finishing Department. The results exceeded a 20% gain in uptime and throughput without increasing headcount or capital investment. Representatives from FLEXcon & MassMEP will be on hand to discuss their journey and success to date while answering questions from the group. Upon conclusion of the roundtable discussion, participants will be treated to a main aisle tour of the Finishing Department at FLEXcon.

Space is limited so sign up now to reserve your seat! Contact Kari Lindell, Administrative Assistant at kari@sbane.org or 781-890-9070 ext 223 to register or join the mailing list for future events.

Note: This roundtable series is intended as a “best practices” forum for manufacturers and those service organizations who directly serve the manufacturing community. Service providers who wish to attend are strongly encouraged to bring a manufacturer client, friend, or colleague.

SBANE’s new Advanced Manufacturing Roundtable is designed to connect manufacturers and facilitate advanced peer learning for continuous improvement. We invite you to join fellow business owners/operators to share ideas and learn from each other’s experiences.
