As we look toward 2026, the Massachusetts Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MassMEP) is preparing a robust slate of events, trainings, and learning opportunities designed to support manufacturers across the Commonwealth. The year ahead also marks a major milestone for our organization: 30 years of serving and strengthening Massachusetts manufacturing.
With evolving market demands, workforce challenges, and emerging growth sectors, MassMEP’s 2026 programming reflects both experience and adaptability—meeting manufacturers where they are and helping them move forward with confidence.
What’s Coming in 2026
Throughout the year, MassMEP will roll out a variety of programs focused on growth, resilience, and innovation. Highlights include:
New Workshop Series Focused on Growth
Launching early in 2026, the Growth, Value Proposition, Marketing & Sales Strategy workshop series will offer a three-part learning experience tailored to minority- and women-owned manufacturers, contract manufacturers, and any Massachusetts manufacturer seeking to expand. Sessions will cover lead generation, refining value propositions, and building effective marketing and sales strategies, with a special emphasis on opportunities within the clean energy sector.
Certificate-Style Programs
One of the first offerings of the new year will be the Supply Chain 101 Certificate Program, providing manufacturers with a strong foundation in supply chain principles, best practices, and risk management—critical knowledge in today’s evolving global market.
Webinars and Virtual Learning
MassMEP’s calendar will continue to feature webinars focused on timely and high-impact topics, including defense readiness, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements, helping manufacturers stay prepared and competitive.
Micro-Learning and Flexible Formats
Recognizing the time constraints many manufacturers face, MassMEP is expanding its use of short, high-impact micro-learning sessions. These flexible offerings allow companies to engage on topics such as innovation, compliance, and growth strategy without a heavy time commitment.
Networking and Community Events
From regional Innovation and Libations events across Central, Western, Northeast, and Southeast Massachusetts to virtual networking opportunities, MassMEP will continue creating spaces for manufacturers to connect, share insights, and build meaningful relationships across the manufacturing ecosystem.
Why 2026 Matters — And Why You Should Get Involved
For three decades, MassMEP has served as a trusted partner to small and mid-sized manufacturers, helping companies improve operations, adopt best practices, and grow sustainably.
As MassMEP enters its 30th year, the manufacturing landscape continues to evolve rapidly—driven by supply chain pressures, workforce development needs, digital transformation, and new growth sectors such as clean energy. The expanded 2026 lineup reflects MassMEP’s commitment to agility, accessible learning, and practical support tailored to today’s challenges.
Whether you’re looking to strengthen your supply chain, sharpen your sales and marketing approach, explore new markets, or simply connect with peers across the Commonwealth, 2026 is shaping up to be a transformative year for Massachusetts manufacturers.
We look forward to celebrating 30 years of impact—and more importantly, continuing to help manufacturing in Massachusetts thrive for decades to come.
