    Who Should Attend: This course is recommended for anyone involved in designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving a quality management system and/or performing internal audits of a quality management system, such as quality officers, managers, and auditors. No prior knowledge of auditing, quality management systems, or ISO 9001:2008 is required prior to attending this course.

    Course Highlights / Topics Covered:

    • The process approach, performance indicators and risk
    • The "Plan-Do-Check-Act” principle
    • The key elements of a quality management system, management of documents/records, deviations, corrective and preventive actions
    • Management responsibility, management representative and management review

    Costs:

    The course is offered on a per seat bases through the Workforce Training Fund Express Grant Opportunity from the Commonwealth Corporation. The cost of the training is $1000/seat; however, through the Express Grant program, if approved, the WTFP will reimburse you for up to 50% of the actual cost of training (for companies 100 employees or more), OR, full reimbursement of the cost of training for companies with 100 employees or less.

  • Front Line Supervisor Training Info Session

    This will be an hour-long info session introducing the training for Front Line Supervisor which is designed to provide both awareness and education through classroom and actual "hands-on” exercises in the work environment with an emphasis on the Scientific Method of problem-solving, team building, and conflict resolution. Also being discussed is the funding available to companies to be a part of the training.

    Takeaways:

    • Registered apprenticeship (company will become a "co-sponsor” with MassMEP)
    • Qualifies for MA Registered Apprentice Tax Credit ($4,800/apprentice)
    • Funding support available through the Workforce Training Fund

    Who Should Attend: Supervisors and Work Leaders that are responsible for and coordinate the activities of production workers, such as inspectors, machine setters, assemblers, fabricators, and maintenance.

    Where in the world is Darcy Cook and what is going on with OSHA? Join us for this one-hour webinar and Darcy will get everyone caught up on what's happening with Safety Trainers and updates across the board for OSHA and safety.

    NEW!! Darcy will have a special guest with her for the one-hour webinar, Maryann Falvey. In June 2022 Maryann Falvey became the new Director at the Office of Safety for the Department of Industrial Accidents (DIA). She has enjoyed a long career managing health, workers compensation automobile related injuries and brings with her knowledge of claims and risk mitigation. Maryann dipped her toes into the world of casualty insurance first working as a multi line adjuster for Liberty Mutual, later as a manager for AON, where she and her team worked with cities and towns of Connecticut. More recently, Maryann brought the benefits of wearable technology, to employers in the USA, Europe and Asia as the Global Worker Safety Strategist for AIG Insurance. In between, Maryann operated a very successful consulting firm providing risk prevention and workers compensation services to employers such as Whirlpool, and Veolia Transportation and claims mitigation services to automobile insurers such as Hertz, Safety, Amica, Arbella, OneBeacon, Electric and Travelers’ Insurance companies. She has worked with several start-up corporations and is an expert and published author on the use of the Graston Technique a means to prevent and reverse musculoskeletal risk.
