Because the words we use shape the way we think, when looking through the lens of the word “disabled,” we tend to think about what’s missing in a person. As a result, we often miss seeing the unique capabilities these people offer. The goal of The Uniquely Abled Project is to shift the paradigm of thinking from “disabled” to “uniquely abled”.

This one hour virtual information session is a time for Manufacturers to learn more about the Uniquely Abled Project as an addition to their current workforce. We are hearing everyday that Manufacturers are still dealing with workforce shifts so MassMEP is partnering with the Uniquely Abeled Project at Bridgewater State University to showcase this opportunity. The goal is to demystify a large population of untapped talent that is loyal, eager to learn and point specific.
